Ferrari and Jordan Wrap Up Ricard Tests

Over the last two day Ferrari and Jordan Toyota have been testing at the Paul Ricard HTTT facility, mainly working on tyre development with their tyre manufacturer Bridgestone.

Spanish test driver Marc Gené who had arrived on Tuesday, completed a test session for Ferrari in exclusivity, also working for a filming session. On Thursday, Jordan GP joined the Italian team to start a two day official F1 test session, to work on tyre set- ups.

Portuguese driver Tiago Monteiro took over from Narain Karthikeyan and Robert Doornbos today in the Jordan Toyota team and Michael Schumacher took over from Marc Gené - his first time at the Paul Ricard HTTT.

The teams chose the 1C sc (5,810km) track solution for the morning session and the 2C sc (4,145km) for the afternoon session.

Marc Gené completed almost the distance of two Grand Prix each day (627km the first day, 714 the second day and 365 yesterday) on two different tracks. Michael Schumacher, who was discovering the track today completed some 661 KM on the same two tracks today. In the morning he was on version 1C-SC (56 laps completed, best time 1:34.327) and in the afternoon, on 2C-SC (81 laps, the quickest in 1.10.923.)

Jordan Grand Prix and its three drivers completed in total 1104 kilometre in two days.
